Following a long series of leaks and filings ahead of the official Google Pixel 9 launch, the company has decided to reveal much of the upcoming device. Between regulatory findings and posts to the Google store product pages, the company has nearly unveiled most of the upcoming device.
With the Google Pixel 9 devices expected to be announced at the upcoming “Made by Google” event, coming on August 13th, the company has posted to additional images of both the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Fold devices to its store pages. The images (as seen below) some minor updates to the design language from the Pixel 8 such as a rounded camera bump and rounded device corners.
In terms of technical specifications, we only have a few details but non of which have yet to be officially confirmed by Google. According to an article published by Android Authority, the upcoming devices have been put forward to the Taiwanese equivalent of the FCC (the NCC) which were reported as “Pixel 9 (model number GUR25), Pixel 9 Pro (GEC77), Pixel 9 Pro XL (GZC4K), and Pixel 9 Pro Fold (GGH2X).”
Google also has teased that the event will feature some sort of Gemini Ai improvements as the Ai feature was prominietely highlighted during the Google teaser video for the August 13th event
We will update this as more information becomes available. As no device information was confirmed by Google at time of publishing, this is expected to change.
