In their scheduled product launch event today, Microsoft Surface devices got a huge refresh along with some new additions to their product line. The Microsoft Surface Pro 9 was unveilved, a refreshed Microsoft Surface Studio 2 along with the Microsoft Surface Laptop 5. The company also relased new product additions like the Microsoft Audio Dock and Microsoft Presenter+ device.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 9 is the successor from the Microsoft Surface Pro 8 from 2021, which now features upgraded webcam, updated 12th Generation Processors and a variety of new design colours. The new Surface Pro 9 also features upgraded connecitivty optons with support for 5G on some models and Dolby Vision IQ support.

The Surface Studio lineup also got a refresh and now features Dolby ViIsion and Dolby Atmos support. The device also comes with 32GB standard and upgraded graphics with the NVIDIA® GeForce RTX®3060LaptopGPU with 6GB GDDR6 GPU memory. The new Surface Studio also features: Wifi 6 support, Bluetooth 5.1, USB 4/Thunderbolt 4 and other minor updates.

The fifth generation of the Surface Laptop lineup is arguably one of the most improtant updates to the Microsoft Surface Lineup. With the fifth generation Surface Laptop, Microsoft finally is bringing the device forward with Thunderbolt support, removable SSD’s, 12th generation Intel processors and an improved camera experience on the device.

Microsoft Audio Dock

This is a new addition to the Mirosoft device family. The Microsoft Audio Dock, is meant to complient other Microsoft devices in your home and act as a sort of hybrid PC dock and audio device. The devices features four different ports (HDMI, USB-C x2, USB-A) and has volume controls that work well with Microsoft Teams. The Microsoft Audio Dock’s retail price wasn’t avaliable at time of publishing.
