Frequently Asked Questions

Our team is always working to serve our readers, our journalists and the public. We get a lot of questions about just how we do that, so here’s a few top questions.

How are you paid for the reviews and news?

We are entirely funded through the generosity of you our readers and on a limited basis the advertisers that serve ads on the platforms we operate. Of note, we do not accept payments directly from advertisers/brands. See our Brand Partnership section for more information or contact us for more information.

How are you promoting transparency?

We are proud to be a member of the Content Authenticity Initiative. This group collaborates with a wide set of representatives from software, publishing, and social media companies, human rights organizations, and academic researchers to develop content attribution standards and tools. Further, we are constantly evolving our editorial standards and encourage you to provide feedback on any questions/concerns.

How can I get my product or service reviewed?

We are always happy to consider all submissions for new products and services to be covered on our sites. We generally do not charge anything for reviews and most cases the only cost to you is product. Depending on the timelines requested, we will endeavor to consider all requests. Please get in touch with us using our contact us form and one of our team members will reach out.
