Google Unveils Pixel 10, Watch 4, and Buds 2a in NYC Event

Google officially unveiled its next generation of hardware at the “Made by Google” event in New York City today, debuting the new Pixel 10 series smartphones, the Pixel Watch 4, and the Pixel Buds Pro 2 and 2a. The company also showcased a variety of new accessories designed for its updated product ecosystem.

Pixel 10
Headlining the upgrades for the Google Pixel 10 lineup is the powerful new Tensor G5 chip, which promises a significant leap in performance over the previous Pixel 9 series. To make the new models more competitive, Google is also introducing practical upgrades like faster charging speeds and a new ecosystem of magnetic “Pixel Snap” accessories.
True to its reputation for camera prowess, Google has equipped the Pixel 10 with formidable new hardware. The upgraded system boasts a stunning 50 MP portrait mode, a powerful 100x AI-assisted zoom, and for the first time, support for recording video in crisp 8K resolution.

Pricing begins at $799 USD for the Pixel 10, $999 USD for the Pixel 10 Pro, and $1,199 USD for the Pixel 10 Pro XL. As an added incentive, Google is including a complimentary one-year subscription to its Google AI Pro service with the purchase of either the Pixel 10 Pro or Pixel 10 Pro XL.
Pixel Watch 4
Google is making a major play in the highly competitive wearables market with the introduction of the Pixel Watch 4. The new device fully capitalizes on the company’s Fitbit acquisition, integrating its deep health-tracking expertise while also embedding its powerful Gemini AI for smarter assistance.
Available in 41mm and 45mm sizes, both models boast a 25% improvement in battery life and support for faster rapid charging. In a groundbreaking move for the industry, the Pixel Watch 4’s LTE model is the first smartwatch to feature satellite communications for emergency situations.
The device also introduces a host of new and improved health capabilities, including more advanced sleep tracking, enhanced skin temperature sensing, and a new dual-GPS system for greater accuracy during workouts.

Pixel Buds 2a
Google also expanded its audio lineup today, launching the Pixel Buds 2a as the newest addition to its Pixel Buds family. In a significant upgrade for the A-series, this latest edition now features Active Noise Cancellation, powered by a new Tensor A1 chip with Google AI.
The earbuds also boast an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, improved bass performance, and a longer battery runtime, which the company says can last up to 20 hours.
The new Pixel Buds 2a are available for preorder starting today for $129 USD. They are scheduled to arrive on shelves at the official Google Store and its retail partners on October 9.
